Join our new exchange platform on MS Teams
AFS network members will now be able to share and exchange on MS Teams. The previous Closed User Group (CUG) and the quarterly newsletters will be discontinued.

In 2026, the AFS network’s communication tools are evolving. In a nutshell, the Closed User Group (CUG) and the quarterly Newsletters with calls for contributions will be discontinued. Instead, you will be able to share and exchange directly on Microsoft Teams!
Until now, you could subscribe to the quarterly newsletter and, as a member, send contributions to be included or share news via the Closed User Group (CUG). From now on, you can continue sharing and receiving similar content on Microsoft Teams, more directly and more quickly, allowing for more interaction between the members.
How can you join us on Microsoft Teams?
- Complete the AFS Network registration form
- Receive a confirmation e-mail (within a few days)
- If you are not from the FDFA, create your account by following the step-by-step instructions
(FDFA staff can skip this step) - You’re ready to communicate with the other members 😊
Why should you join us on Microsoft Teams?
- Receive AFS Network news and updates (e.g. upcoming webinars) directly in the application.
- Promote your events to other members and reach them instantly.
- Share news about your activities, initiatives, or publications with the Network.
- Ask for advice and expertise, and create new connections within the Network.
Is it still possible to send contributions?
If you would like to share more about your activities, in particular by:
- Organising or participating to a webinar of the AFS Network
- Publishing an article or a resource on the AFS Network website
You can still contact us at deza.afsnw@eda.admin.ch and we will be happy to collaborate!
