Land is at the heart of food systems — but also under increasing pressure. Up to 40% of the world’s land is already degraded, threatening food security, water resources, livelihoods, and ecosystem health.
Sustainable Land Management (SLM) offers a pathway to restore soils, protect ecosystems, and improve livelihoods. But what is it all about, what does SLM look like in practice, and how can we as a network share and scale what works?
