Deep Dive: Sustainable Land Management
Sustainable land management focuses on using land resources in a way that balances environmental health, economic viability and social needs over the long term.

Land is at the heart of food systems — but also under increasing pressure. Sustainable Land Management (SLM) offers a pathway to restore soils, protect ecosystems, and improve livelihoods. But what does SLM look like in practice, and how can we as a network share and scale what works?
Ahead of UNCCD COP17, this first deep dive will explore how SLM is being applied across contexts, and how innovation within our network can contribute to more resilient landscapes and food systems.
